Welcome to Casa Casa’s Internet Website (“Website”). Casa Casa, LLC is a member-based hospitality exchange club headquartered in Seattle, Washington. By using Casa Casa’s Internet Website, you agree to comply with and are legally bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”), whether or not you become a member of Casa Casa (“Member”) and registered user of the services (“Services”). Please read them carefully. These Terms of Service apply to all Casa Casa online services and features unless otherwise indicated. In addition to reviewing the Terms, please read our Club Rules and Guidelines, as your use of our Services constitutes agreement to this as well. If you cannot agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website. The Terms may be modified from time to time; the date of the most recent revisions will appear on this page, so check back often. Continued access of the Website by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions to the Terms.
2. Scope of Service
Casa Casa (“we”) maintains this Website as a service to the user community that visits the site subject to these Terms of Service. The term “Website” includes all services and features available on www.casacasa.org, including our Membership Directory (“Directory”). Visitors to this Website (“you”) are responsible for obtaining any equipment and Internet service necessary to access our Website and for any paying of any fees for the equipment and service you select. We may alter, suspend, or discontinue this Website or any portion of our services, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, without any liability to you, with or without notice. The Website may also periodically become unavailable due to maintenance or malfunction of computer equipment or other reasons.
3. Website Content
The term “Content” means all information, text, images, data, links, software, or other material accessible through the Website, whether created by Casa Casa or provided by another person for display on the Website. The Content may contain typographical errors, other inadvertent errors, or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to make changes to Content or other information without obligation to issue any notice of such changes.
You may view, copy, download, and print Content that is available on this website, subject to the following conditions: (1) The Content may be used solely for internal, informational, non-commercial purposes. No part of this website or its Content may be reproduced or transmitted in any form, by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying and recording, for any other purpose. (2) The Content may not be modified. (3) Copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices may not be removed.

a. License. By submitting any Content (including text, data and images) to this website, you hereby grant us license to use, display, adapt, modify, distribute and promote such Content in any form and for any purpose.
b. Liability. We neither endorse nor guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any such Content. You are responsible for ensuring that Content submitted to this website is not provided in violation of any copyright, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of another person or entity. You shall be solely liable for any damages resulting from any infringement of copyrights, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights, or any other harm resulting from your uploading, posting, or submission of Content to this website.
c. Responsibility. We have the right to remove any material that Casa Casa, in its sole discretion, finds to be in violation of these Terms of Service or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for the Content that you post, submit, or transmit via this Website. You may not post or submit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, offensive, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, lewd, lascivious, or otherwise objectionable, as determined by Casa Casa. We are under no obligation to post any content from you.
d. Accuracy. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit to this website and/or post to your profile. As a Member of Casa Casa, you agree that the information that you submit or post on your profile is true to the best of your knowledge.
4. Third-Party Content
In using our Website, you may be exposed to content provided by third parties, including profiles of Casa Casa members. We do not control, and shall have no responsibility for, Third-Party Content, including text, photos, or other material that may be inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, offensive, unlawful or otherwise objectionable. You must be responsible for evaluating all Third Party Content and bear all risks associated with Third Party Content.
5. Indemnification
By using this Website, you agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Casa Casa from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and all costs and expenses of defense, including but not limited to attorneys’ fees, arising out or relating to your use of our Website or Services, or resulting directly or indirectly from a claim by a third party that arises in connection with your use of this website. If you are obligated to indemnify us, we will have the right, in our sole and unfettered discretion, to control any action or proceeding and determine whether we wish to settle it, and if so, on what terms.
6. Privacy
Casa Casa respects your privacy and will make every attempt to responsibly handle personal information about visitors to the Website.
Visitors must join Casa Casa in order to access and search the Casa Casa Member Directory on our Website. We may collect certain personal information from you that we do not post in our Directory.
During the join process, a visitor is required to provide contact information such as name, address, phone number, and email address. We use this information to attempt to verify the authenticity of your email, street address and name.
Our Services are designed to allow Members to post information about themselves, including photographs of themselves and their homes, to their profiles in the Casa Casa Membership Directory, accessible to members of Casa Casa via a password-protected login. By posting your photograph and/or any personal information, you waive any privacy you expect to have with respect to the viewing or use of such personal information. If you do not want your photographs or personal information viewed by others, do not use our Services.
We collect certain other personal information from you that is not disclosed in the Casa Casa Membership Directory, such as your street address or phone number. We do not ordinarily share this information to unaffiliated third parties without your consent. However, we reserve the right to disclose such information without your consent to prevent an emergency, to respond to an emergency, to protect or enforce our rights, to protect or enforce the rights of a third party, or in response to a subpoena court order or as otherwise required or permitted by law. In addition, we reserve the right to provide such personal information to third-party service providers who assist with our Services.
7. Age
You must be at least 24 years old to become a member of Casa Casa and to access or use our Membership Directory. Anyone under the age of 24 must be accompanied by a Casa Casa member when traveling or hosting as part of Casa Casa’s Services.
8. Conduct and Responsibility
As a Member of Casa Casa you agree to provide bed & breakfast accommodations for Casa Casa members to the best of your ability. There will be no charge to the members you host except for a modest gratuity of $15 a day for one person or $20 a day for two to defray any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur. As a Member, you will make every effort to maintain good relations with fellow members. You agree to treat all member information provided to you as confidential and use it solely for the purpose of arranging accommodations.
Casa Casa LLC does not participate in arranging your homestay. We may, upon request, provide support and guidance to you through this process. You are solely responsible for making arrangements with the Casa Casa members whom you wish to visit. Casa Casa has no control over the conduct of members or the accuracy of information that members post to their profiles.
Casa Casa makes a reasonable effort to verify a member’s identity, but we cannot and do not confirm each Member’s purported identity with certainty. Casa Casa provides tools to assist you in verifying a Member’s identity. For eample, we mail a verification code to each Member, confirming the postal address a Member submits to us is an address at which that Member receives mail.
